Friends since 2010 and in business together since 2014, Justine and Lindsey make up the Leah Elizabeth Hair Studio 'Dream Team." They proudly offer hair services for the whole family in their classic and cozy studio in the heart of downtown Maple Grove, Minnesota. Their mission is to provide a soothing atmosphere that leaves their guests feeling renewed. They really shine at creating natural, beautiful colors that are enhanced by soft blended haircuts. Continuing education is of the utmost importance to them, they regularly attend advanced cut, color, styling and business classes all around the country to keep up on upcoming trends.

Hey there! I’m Justine! I knew as a child I wanted to do hair when I grew up, I was always into hair. From cutting all the hair off my Barbies, to sitting behind the chair of my Fisher-Price beauty station and giving “haircuts” to my siblings, cousins, babysitters, or anyone who would let me. I started cosmetology school the January following my high school graduation, I attended PCI Academy in New Hope, MN and graduated in January 2010. After completing my training, I immediately began working at a salon in Plymouth MN acquiring many essential skills in an apprenticeship program under the owner. This is also where I met my now business partner, Lindsey.
I have always had a passion for hair, hair products, hair tools, anything of the sort. I also LOVE people. I am very social, and I love to be around others, so what better job for me than to be a hair stylist who gets to be around others every day, all while making them feel beautiful and making new friends in the process.
In February of 2014, I became the co-owner of Leah Elizabeth Hair Studio at Sola Salons Maple Grove, with my wonderful friend Lindsey. It has been nothing short of a dream come true. Owning my own business has allowed me to really tailor my career to my client’s wants and needs to offer the services and products that suit them the best. I look forward to continuing to grow my business alongside my partner Lindsey, and sharing our love for the beauty industry with you all for years to come

The smell of perm solution and hairspray are forever in the memories of my childhood. As the daughter of a Cosmetologist I had the privilege to be raised in this exciting industry! My passion for beauty and fashion was fueled at a young age. I can even remember for my 14th birthday party having a group of my closest girlfriends over so that I could do their hair and makeup for a photo shoot! After High School I couldn’t imagine any other college I wanted to go to except cosmetology school. In 2004 I attended the Model College of Hair Design in St. Cloud Minnesota. I soon landed a job at a salon in Plymouth and was quickly versed in a difficult apprenticeship program under the owner. Our salon grew and soon relocated to Golden Valley where I had the privilege of becoming the salon manager and training director. I owe her much of what I learned about business, team work and technical skills. I will forever be grateful! In 2014 I became the co-owner of Leah Elizabeth Hair Studio at Sola Salons with my best friend Justine. Owning my own business has been a dream come true. I’m looking forward to growing my business and sharing my love for hair and make-up for many more years!
